DONATE TO CANCER RESEARCH & CARE

Cancer has deeply affected my family, and it is a cause I hold close to my heart. My brother, Mark L. Brown, passed away from pancreatic cancer in March 2021 after a long and courageous battle. He was just two months shy of his 59th birthday. Mark was a devoted husband and father, and his loss left a hole in our lives that can never be filled.

A Personal Cause Close to My Heart
Join me on the journey to find an end to cancer

On February 12, 2026, my family suffered another profound loss when my mother, DeLois Laura Mae Draper Brown, passed away after her courageous battle with cancer. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer in February 2024 and faced her journey with remarkable strength, grace, and determination. Throughout her fight, she never lost her humanity, her resilience, or her love for family.

Thank you so much for your support. We aim to highlight the latest research breakthroughs and share survivor stories, encouraging donations to fuel ongoing cancer research and support initiatives that make a difference in the lives of many.

PW Brown's Charitable Organizations

I dedicated THE POWER OF FEAR to my mother and brother. On the Dedication Page, I made a call to action to donate to cancer research. Through compelling storytelling, my goal is to captivate readers and provide them with a thought-provoking experience of a 2050 America. I solicit your support in bringing an end to cancer over the next 30 years to make that world a healthier place to live and thrive. We can do it, if we dig our heels in and work together, committing to support cancer research today. So, I'm taking the first step in this journey to raise money to support cancer research and care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

I’m proud to join hands with Comfort With Chemotherapy, a nonprofit organization that provides care packages to cancer patients undergoing treatment, offering comfort, joy, and stress relief during a difficult time.
